The apartment is brand new with everything you need: the kitchen is fully equipped, two bedrooms with a very comfortable king size bed, a nice living room, a quite big bathroom and a washing machine in case you need it (and we needed it). The location is just a 10 minutes by car from Siena. The area is full of nice restaurants where you can have a true local dinner without the chaos of the city proper and at a much lower price. If you still want to wander about the beautiful Siena you just need to drive form 10 minutes. However the best part of our stay was the staff: Pierre and his brother were very welcoming and helpful, and Pierre's mom food is the best you can find: true hand made Italian pasta and a lot more, everything fully home made. The breakfast is worth at least a try: we had omelettes, french toasts, muffins, different kind of cakes, yogurt, muesli, everything made at the moment. One last thing: Gastone and Stig (the dogs) are amazing

We like everything about this place! The owner's family is super friendly and prepares homemade breakfast every morning. The food was awesome, the best breakfast I had in Italy. Also they are super pet friendly, they have two dogs and many cats, our dog got special treatment and enjoyed the backyard! The room was super clean and great size. Location was close to Siena as well.
We had a blasting time staying at Tenuta La Santissima during our trip in Tuscany . The place is cozy also convenient for reaching Siena and surrounding areas. SUPER friendly hosts welcomed us also with our dog. We enjoyed our staying there, highly recommended!

Die Wohnung war angenehm temperiert, sogar wenn die Klimaanlage ausgeschaltet war. Die Betten sind traumhaft. Die Familie ist ausgesprochen gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu Besuch zu sein. Auf sehr angenehme Art kann man Anschluss finden oder lieber für sich bleiben. Die Tage hier waren richtig wohltuend. Das große Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt und bietet viele schöne Ecken zum Entspannen und Draußensein. Dies ist ein wunderbarer Ort für eine Erholungspause im Urlaub. Gleichzeitig ein prima Ausgangspunkt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Man ist schnell in Siena, im Chianti, in Montereggioni, San Gimignano, bei der Klosterruine San Galgano.... Ein großer Supermarkt ist nicht weit, so dass man bestens versorgt ist. Für den ersten Tag hatte die Gastfamilie einige "Basics" (Nudeln, Tomatensauce, Kekse, Milch, Saft...) bereit gestellt. Vielen Dank für diese Umsicht! Am ersten Morgen gab's Muffins, obwohl wir als Selbstversorger hier waren. Ach ja, unbedingt zu erwähnen: die liebenswerten beiden Hunde und die Katzen auf dem Hof - wir haben sie gleich bei der Ankunft ins Herz geschlossen.
This place is awesome. The owner's family are super friendly, they have two cute dogs as well! Our dog was able to run in the yard and enjoy some playtime. The breakfast was amazing, made by the owner. And the room was super clean, also well maintained. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay, we will definitely come back whenever we visit Siena!
The owners are exceptional! Pierre couldn’t do enough to ensure that we had what we needed. His mama made absolutely wonderful breakfasts and their wonderful pets made us feel very at home.

Breakfast was AMAZING, and a whole lot more than anything we initially expected. We didn't get just fruit and yogurt, but we got endless pastries, something savoury and hot, fresh juice, and any coffee/tea drink to our liking. Additionally, we could not have asked for better hosts. They were so genuine, friendly, and went out of their way to help you with whatever you need. They were the right amount of hospitable. The location is fairly central to all of Tuscany (about an hour out from San Gimignano etc.) and just outside of Siena. It is the PERFECT landing spot if you feel like driving around Tuscany for the week. The place is also away from all the crowds/tourists, which is a huge bonus. They have a wonderful cooking class as well for extra money, which is TOTALLY worth it (cannot emphasize this enough) if you want the full Tuscany country-living experience. If they offer this, do not hesitate - just do it. Me and my wife will be coming back with our family whenever we get the opportunity to do so. Tenuta La Santissima holds a special place in our hearts. 🙂

Van ons een zeer verdiend cijfer 10. De locatie is perfect om met dagtochten alle mooie delen en stadjes van Toscane te verkennen.

Best place we stayed at in our time in Italy. Peaceful setting in the country-side without being too far (you can see the Siena skyline from at least our room, which was a beautiful backdrop to the chickens and geese in the neighboring property). The backyard has some seating around it to just lounge around and enjoy the peace, the sun and the birds. We had one of the dinners that the property owners mom puts together and oof, so good. It was 35 euro for something like a 5-course meal that even us Americans struggled to finish despite the desire to keep on going. The included breakfasts were lovely as well. My partner is vegetarian and they were able to tailor meals to meet her needs. They grow purple artichoke and we were lucky enough to get some of the first cuts from that crop. Lastly, if you like dogs, they've got some cuties. The basset hound is adorable and both are very friendly.

The property was incredibly charming and within easy driving distance of fantastic restaurants and sights (eg Siena). You definitely need a car to get around here, but 100% worth visiting. wir waren sehr begeistert von d dm tollem gepflegten Grundstück und wir viele verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten heute. es dort gab. im Schatten oder eher Sonne , Hängematte oder Stuhl usw. abends ging die Beleuchtung an, sehr schön Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig , süß und auch herzhaft. da sollte jeder glücklich werden. wir fanden es super das Frühstück draußen im Garten einzuladen einen, da begab der Tag gleich super und Gastron ( Hund) begrüßte und jeden Morgen war mega lieb die Lage war super ruhig und trotzdem nicht weit von der Straße entfernt.

Auch das Abendmenue sollte man sich keinesfalls entgehen lassen. Zudem waren die Gastgeber sehr aufmerksam und stets auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. Ein rundum toller Urlaub in einer zudem sehr schönen Landschaft. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Haupthaus war sehr originell eingerichtet, man fühlte sich wie in einem Museum 🙂 Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Haus ist größtenteils mit Antiquitäten und Kunst eingerichtet und verfügt über eine antiquarische Bibliothek sowie Wohn- und Esszimmer - ebenfalls sehr repräsentativ eingerichtet - die den Gästen zur Verfügung stehen. Die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss war geräumig, neuwertig , sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Standort ist ideal gelegen für Ausflüge in der Umgebung von Siena, Arezzo und Florenz. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen ist frisch zubereitet und von aussergewöhnlicher Qualität. Wir habe in keinem Restaurant besser gegessen! Die Gastfreundschaft der Familie sucht ihresgleichen - so etwas haben wir selten erlebt. Wir und v.a. unsere Teenager Kinder waren von A bis Z begeistert und kommen auf alle Fälle zurück.

Pierre und seine Familie, geben einem bei der Ankunft, sofort das Gefühl, herzlich willkommen zu sein. Wirklich sehr nette, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist Top, Parkplatz vorm Haus vorhanden. Siena ist in 15 Min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Leider waren wir nur 2 Nächte zu Gast, hier lohnt es sich länger zu bleiben. Ein sehr schönes Anwesen! Die Appartments liegen in einem separaten Gebäude, alles ganz neu, sauber, großzügig, sehr angenehm eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Das zusätzlich zu bestellende Frühstück ist unbedingt empfehlenswert, sehr reichhaltig und alles frisch zubereitet. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, leider waren wir nur zwei Tage da. Das nächste Mal bleiben wir länger!

In September 2021 we’ve spent eight wonderful days at Tenuta La Santissima. It was a great Italian experience in an authentic country-side estate with a large and peaceful garden having many spots to enjoy the sun or the shade. From our spacious room we had a view on the city of Siena which is certainly worth a visit. Every morning, breakfast was served outside on our private terrace. Different each day, but every day absolutely marvelous. Prepared by mother and served by Pierre and Eric, who are doing everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. On request, a few times a week, mother prepares a delicious diner for the guests which we can highly recommend! Besides that there are many places in the neighbourhood where you can enjoy a good meal as well. Normally, we never intend to return to a previous holiday location but for Tenuta La Santissima we’ll happily make an exemption. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Die Unterkunft liegt nur wenige Kilometer südlich von Siena und ist somit ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen in die wunderschöne Toskana. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich vom Gastgeber Pierre und seinen Hunden begrüßt. Unser Appartement im Nebenhaus befand sich im 1. Stock und war modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Am Haus angeschlossen war ein weitläufiger Garten mit Grillplatz, Liegen zum relaxen und Feigenbäume zum naschen. Auf Nachfrage konnte man auch im Gemüsegarten Tomaten ernten. Ein Muss das Abendessen bei Pierre. Mama steht in der Küche und zaubert leckere italienische Gerichte. Coronakonform hatten alle Teilnehmer ein eigenes Esszimmer. Zum Abschied bekamen wir noch ein Feigenbäumchen aus dem Garten, da es in den Gärtnereien keines zu kaufen gab. Es waren 10 wunderschöne Tage. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Colazione buona e varia ogni giorno. Super consigliato. Non avremo dubbi a ritornare qui una seconda volta per un prossimo soggiorno in Toscana.

Siamo arrivati alla Tenuta La Santissima stanchi da una giornata di viaggio e, onestamente, non potevamo trovare location migliore. L'appartamento era molto spazioso, pulito, pieno di luce, appena ristrutturato e ben curato. Oltre alla comodità dell'essere a poco più di 15 minuti da Siena in auto (e vicina anche ad altre mete turistiche davvero affascinanti), la vera chicca della Tenuta è il giardino: è vastissimo, sei immerso nei campi e, sopratutto la sera, si crea un'atmosfera davvero magica. Il proprietario inoltre è molto gentile e disponibile: ci ha perfino accolti con una cesta di pomodori dell'orto che, oltretutto, abbiamo mangiato molto volentieri. La sera abbiamo cucinato sulla brace in giardino, guardando il sole che tramontava sui campi. Ci ritornerò senz'altro, davvero due notti indimenticabili.
La tenuta è stupenda, un casolare immerso tra le colline ma recentemente ristrutturato all’interno. Pierre è stato gentilissimo sotto tutti i punti di vista, nel consigliarci su cosa visitare e dove mangiare nei dintorni. Se cercate un luogo tranquillo dove rilassarci questo fa al caso vostro. Ottime anche le colazioni, con torte e prodotti fatti in casa. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare e lo consigliamo vivamente
We had a fantastic time and even extended our stay as we liked it so much. The accommodation offers generous space and a huge garden, lots of comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, comfy sofa with TV etc.) and a fully equipped modern kitchen whilst at the same time preserving the beautiful character and charm of a country house. The family was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and hospitable and made us feel welcome all the time. The location is also great, in the middle of the nature but still only 15 minutes from Siena.
Ein kleines toskanisches Juwel abseits der Touristenhotspots aber dennoch gut gelegen, nahe an Siena. Man kann sehr viele tolle Ausflüge ins Chianti, Montalcino, Montepulciano etc. machen. Uns hat aber die Herzlichkeit von Pierre und seiner Familie noch mehr beeindruckt und vor allem das gute Essen, vom grandiosen Frühstück mit tollen frischen Gartenprodukten bis hin zum Abendessen, welches man auf Wunsch vorbestellen kann. Einfach nur super. Das mehrgängige Dinner war einfach nur grandios. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wollten trotz Verlängerung gar nicht mehr weg, danke für alles, lieber Pierre, und danke auch an die Mama, die uns mit so leckeren Sachen verwöhnt hat! Tutto perfetto! Posto meraviglioso, accoglienza eccezionale, e cibo ottimo. Le colazioni sono da hotel a 5 stelle (con dolci preparati al momento) e consiglio vivamente di rimanere a cena una sera...pasta fatta in casa straordinaria. Difficilmente il soggiorno sarebbe potuto andare meglio!

Non mancava proprio nulla (non lo dico per dire !!!). Ogni comodità. L'ospitalità di Pierre è stata al di sopra di ogni aspettativa. Subito capisci che fa questo mestiere con grande passione e dedizione alla ricerca di soddisfare sempre di più i clienti. Vi assicuro che non sono frasi di rito. Provare per credere !!!

Wir haben uns bei Pierre und seiner Mutter ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt: Tolle und saubere Unterkunft, wunderbares hausgemachtes Frühstück, fantastisches Abendessen auf Wunsch, Heizung auch bei etwas kühleren Temperaturen und ausnehmend liebenswürdige Gastgeber, die den Besuchern den Garten und auch andere Bereiche des Hauses zur Verfügung stellen. So stellt man sich die Toskana in seinen Träumen vor - Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, auch gerne in eines der tollen Appartements im Nebenhaus.

La tenuta la sentissima ci ha convinto sotto tutti i punti di vista Ottima posizione, proprietari gentili attenti e preparati (oltre ad essere bei ragazzi). Ampi spazi molto apprezzati anche dal nostro compagno di viaggio a quattro zampe e la possibilità di consumare colazione e cena con prodotti tipici doviziosamente selezionati. Un'esperienza appagante e da ripetere.
Soggiorno ed esperienza indimenticabile! Tenuta nel verde, in posizione strategica per visitare Siena e dintorni. La famiglia che gestisce la struttura ci ha fatto sentire a casa ( anzi meglio!). La colazione è diversa ogni giorno e tutto è rigorosamente preparato in casa con prodotti dell'Orto o di produttori locali. Consiglio vivamente anche di provare la cena da loro. Ci siamo innamorati anche dei due cani e dei due mici, troppo simpatici ( soprattutto Gaston e Sfigatto!!). Speriamo di rivederci presto 🙂

(Original) Io e mia moglie cercavamo una struttura fuori Siena come base per poi poter visitare appunto Siena e paesi limitrofi .Cercando sui vari siti e lette le varie recensioni abbiamo scelto questa struttura, già dalle telefonate fatte per prenotare ci pareva che gli interlocutori fossero delle persone molto simpatiche e alla mano infatti era cosi’!!Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni indimenticabili su questo casale immerso nelle campagne senesi dove il verde e la natura la fanno da padrone in un silenzio veramente rilassante.La cosa che ci ha colpito subito è stata la pulizia della stanza, non c’era una virgola fuori posto bagno impeccabile, camera pulita e lavata ogni giorno, veramente ci ha dato proprio il senso di pulito e anche l’arredamento in tono era curato nel dettaglio !! La seconda cosa che ci ha stupito è stata la cucina, la Signora Marie Therese ci deliziava il palato con piatti della tradizione Toscana veramente succulenti tanto da non temere confronto con i migliori ristoranti..Cucina..ECCELLENTE!!!!La Terza cosa che ci ha colpito,ma forse la piu’ importante, e’ stata la famiglia che abbiamo conosciuto e che ci ha seguito passo passo durante il nostro soggiorno, Alain, Erik, Pierre, e la mamma Mamma Marie Therese che gestiscono questa tenuta, persone veramente speciali che mettono il cuore e la passione sul loro lavoro.....vogliamo spendere una parola in più per la Mamma e per Pierre con i quali abbiamo avuto un rapporto più diretto e con cui abbiamo avuto delle piacevoli conversazioni durante il soggiorno...e la parola in più è questa ..GRAZIE!!! One of the best place for start a trip around the country of Siena. Excellent position, just 15 minutes from the center of Siena, placed at the top of the hill of Pilli, "la tenuta" is completely surrounded by the nature. All the guest rooms are obtained from the patronal house that was an ancient hospital during the 13th century, and can count on a scenic view on Siena's skyline. My stay was delighted from manors owner "cousine", from breakfasts to dinners. Definitely comparable to the best restaurants of Chianti shire. A place that you will wish visit more than once. Suggested!
This was our first time staying at Tenuta la Santissima and in the Sienna region and it was nothing short of amazing! We traveled all over Italy for two and a half weeks, staying eight different places, including a posh villa in San Casciano and a 5-star, hilltop resort in Positano, and Tenuta la Santissima was our favorite place of all and by far the most memorable. So many things made is a special stay for us. First of all, the house is absolutely beautiful; both elegant and charmingly rustic; full of beautiful family antiques with a spacious guest suite, luxurious bathroom suite with tub and shower, a fireplace and an incredibly comfortable king-sized brass bed. We loved looking out the window at the countryside and up at the gorgeous wood-beamed ceiling both before and after sleeping each night. Even seeing pictures of the room and farm house beforehand didn't prepare us for how nice it would be. We definitely expected a lot, but it was so much nicer than we'd even imagined! The grounds of the property are gorgeous as well and you really feel like you are in the Italian countryside, which is exactly what we wanted to experience. There is a beautiful garden, in which Maria Theresa grows the wonderful, farm-fresh vegetables you enjoy during your stay, a large lawn area with lovely plants and trees, welcoming patios and so much more. In addition to the luxurious guest rooms you also have a personal guest dining room for breakfast and other meals as desired, which Marie Therese lovingly prepares. Her meals are absolutely exquisite, too! We are still talking about the Guinea fowl and homemade four-cheese ravioli with sage butter she served us, as well as and the delicious breakfasts she served us as part of our stay each morning. We would both kill to have Maria Theresa's prosciutto and mozzarella in puff pastry right now. It was one of the best things we ate during our entire time in Italy and we ate at some incredible places. The absolute best thing of all about our stay at Tenuta la Santissima was the family who hosted us. Pierre is the proprietor, along with his brother Eric and their amazing mother Marie Therese. We enjoyed their company so much and felt so at home that we ended up spending time in the kitchen with them while they prepared our meals and our time with them created some of the best memories we have of our trip to Italy! They have become our friends and we know we will be back to visit them again. To sum, our stay at their lovely farm home was a memory we will never forget and we hope that others will discover Tenuta la Santissima and love their experience as much as we did! It is an absolute gem and a wonderful way to experience both the Italian countryside and the beautiful spirit of the people who live there!
